Examples of projects

Design and execution of outsourcing arrangements

We have assisted clients in designing and implementing operating models where some functions are outsourced to third party administrators. We have been involved in the selection of the administrator and all aspects of the implementation of the outsourced model such as system integration, change management, process re-design, oversight model and contractual and commercial arrangements. We have also assisted clients with the insourcing of functions performed by the third-party administrator.

System selection & implementation

We have developed an effective methodology to guide the evaluation and implementation of core business applications such as administration systems, trading platforms and peripheral systems. This methodology includes templates for key project artefacts, such as project plans, requests for proposal, evaluation models and test plans. Since 1997, we have evaluated or implemented most of the systems used in the South African Financial Services industry.

Restructuring of product and fund offering

We have assisted clients in restructuring their offering through managing the launch or amalgamation of products or funds. In some cases, this included the acquisition of new licences.

Corporate restructuring

We have assisted clients in launching new businesses, integration of acquired businesses and merging two businesses.
